speciality Pharmaceutical company. The company markets its products
in more than 50 countries across the globe with primary focus in UK
and EU markets. Goldshield has operational bases in the UK, Ireland
and India.
Goldshield sells niche prescription pharmaceuticals and non-prescription medicines.
Goldshield is a story of success. The company commenced trading in 1991 and listed on the London Stock Exchange on 31 March 1998, having grown exponentially and with equity funding of only £1.8 million during that period.
Goldshield is now a private company as a result of a public to private Management Buy Out in December 2009, at a value of £178 million. The majority shareholder is the well-known European private equity company, Hg Capital.
